Henry Cavill is a British actor best known for playing the role of the superhero Superman in the film 'Man of Steel. He was once dubbed"the most unfortunate man" in Hollywood because he lost his parts for The Batman franchise, Superman series and James Bond series to Christian Bale, Brandon Routh, and Daniel Craig respectively, Cavill is now a seasoned actor. Born in Jersey, UK, Cavill was raised with four brothers, all of whom were actors with good skills. Cavill faced bullying at high school for his weight. Once he got a leading role in a 2001 movie and began to take care for his body. The actor is now famous for his lean body and gorgeous physique, the actor has performed various scenes that were not suited in any films he has been featured in. He made his acting debut in 'Hellraiser, "Red Ridinghood, Blood Creek' and Stardust'. But it was his role as the handsome Duke in 'The Tudors,' that brought him to the forefront of film history. Post 'The Tudors', he proceeded to feature in various films which included "The Immortals', 'The Man From U.N.C.L.E as well as the top selling Superman film of all time the 'The Man Of Steel.'
