Kari Samantha was an American actor, performer and singer (born on April 28, 1967). Wuhrer began her career as she was just a teen. She is best known for playing Maggie Beckett on the TV show Sliders as well in the role of the character of Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the thriller-comedy movie Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was born at Brookfield Connecticut as the daughter of Karin Noble who was employed as a payroll clerk, as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer. The youngest of three children.
