Lisa Edelstein (born Lisa Edelstein) is an American actress best known for playing House in the Fox the medical thriller House. Growing up with traditional Jews from Wayne, New York City was her destination to study the theater at Tisch. But very soon she began to be involved in the city's club scene, making enough splashes to be recognized by the media, simultaneously, she became aware of the devastation of AIDS. The singer used her experience in the music industry and public recognition to create and star in a musical of her own, Positive Me. The first time she was hired, she got her first position at MTV as the presenter of Awake on the Wild Side shortly after. When it ended up going off the air, she was able to appear in films and television production beginning in roles of a short duration but then gradually becoming an actor.
