Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on October 28 1967 as the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Roberts is from the fourth generation of Roberts family to have lived in Atlanta. It started with her grandfather John Pendleton Roberts who was an agriculturalist. Her father took the first interest to the stage. As a student in Emory University he appeared in diverse productions, both on and off campus. He joined the military in 1953. While being stationed at Biloxi Mississippi, was cast in an army production that featured Betty Lou Bredemus who was as well in the air force. The couple got married in 2005 and had their first child, Eric Anthony in 1956. Walter attended Tulane University New Orleans Louisiana after leaving the Airforce in 1957. Walter joined Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio when the family relocated from Atlanta to Decatur in Georgia in 1960. Walter and Betty Lou began producing a children's TV show in Decatur, Georgia called Bum Bum and His Buddies. They financed the production themselves. In 1964, Walter and Betty Lou established The Actors and Writers Workshop. It lasted for 6 years. They had two more children: Lelisa Billingsley (1965) (also called Lisa) and Julia Billingsley (1967) (also also known by the name Julie).
